William & Lacy

What a crazy day this was but William & Lacy were so easy going and laid back that they rolled with the rain and the snow and all sorts of location changes so we could get these awesome photos at the glass museum downtown. All in all a fun day with a hint of adventure.

Man a Blog is hard

I am still trying to blog everyday but man… It is really hard to do with all that’s going on in my life every day. So here’s a new blog and some pictures of a wedding I did back in April of Simon & Megan. It was very beautiful and their reception was down at Salti’s on Alki beach. Long day, but totally relaxed and well planned out. All in all an awesome day.

Beautiful Sunday

So it’s a gorgeous Sunday and after church this morning and some awesome prayer I have decided to jsut sit around and lounge the day away. No work, no real stuff to do. Just using the Lord’s day to do what the Lord said to do. REst. A rare thing around here but it’s what I get to do. So I’ll upload the pictures of the air show and the other weddings tomorrow. Or so. It just takes so darn long to upload and since it’s not for work then I can take my time. See you tomorrow.

Just got back from the Mcchord Air Force base air show, the first one in three years and wow! Got some awesome pics of the planes and of course the Thunderbirds!!! They were cool as always. Will post those tomorrow long with some more stuff that’s been going on. Need to get some rest now though.

Work

So I’m not busy for the next week or so and then I don’t have another job for the next month…. yet. But the Lord provides. Going to take the kiddos to see wall-e today. My wife is the one who wants to see it the most though. It should be fun. Goin gto post some more pictures of some of the weddings I have done the past few months. Just to get more of my work out there. Need to update and change my price list too. Too many choices is what I keep being told about my prices. So…. Make fewer packages and then hopefully book some more weddings. Well…thats the theroy. Getting into Senior portrature season too. Need to make a seniors special. Hmmm… going to have to think on that one for a little bit. I’ll probably gte it done today or tomorrow.

This is the first half of Chase’s senior pictures. Chase, his long time girlfriend Hannah and I went out to Ft. Steilacoom park. The ruins are gone but there’s still lost of fun things to take pictures on or around. And during the heat of the day plenty of shade. We hung out for about an hour and then took off. Still trying to get the second half of his pictures done but his time is so limited. Should get the rest up this week or so.

Post starting

I have not been updating this blog as much as I would like or I should be doing so here goes a new challenge for me. In an effort to build business and to see if people are actually reading this I am going to start blogging once a day every day. Even if it’s about my day or what I have coming up I will say something. So today’s date is 7/15/08. From now on I will have something to say on here. I need to start utilizing my many different tools that I have. I use like three now and that’s just not getting the job done. Almost done changing the look of my site. Hopefully I will have it uploaded and running fully by the end of this month. I like the new look. If you don’t like it or have problems viewing it PLEASE email me and let me know so I can get it fixed. I just recently found out that some people using the Firefox browser may only see the HTML code on the site. THAT’S NOT GOOD! In a similar problem I found that the last 15 visitors to my site were using Firefox. I desperately hope they could see the site ok. Over this last weekend I went camping with the family out at Dungeness spit in Sequim and loved it. We chose out there as I had a wedding to do on Monday with Sacha Blue Photography and decided to maker a weekend out of it with the wife and kids. It was gorgeous weather and I will post some of the pictures I (and my wife) took. The wedding photos you will be able to see on Sacha’s blog in a few days and the slide show in a few weeks.
