Ok My website is up and running

After getting all the glitches out of the website building program i am using and getting my server to talk with it my site is up and running. Still working out kinks and glitches but am feeling really excited about it. I have not been blogging as much but I have been doing some work these last two weekends with my good friend and fellow photographer Sacha of Sacha Blue photography. She has been doing photography on her own now for a couple of years and before that we both did weddings for her parents so she is doing awesomely and has been so generous as to include me so that I can build up my own personal portfolio. So that’s what I’ve been doing. I have come to the realization that I love being classical and elegant. She is artsy and edgy but still has some classical leanings. I love doing the detail shots and getting all the information that’s going on but in a traditional manner and trying to save the timeless quality of the photos. I love looking at her stuff and other sites and seeing the soft lighted, vignetted photos that show a bride just resting or standing by a window with her soon to be husband standing behind her just watching her. Always makes me go *sigh* with contentment. But it has been awesome working with Sacha and her friend Josh this last weekend and got a lot of really cool photos. Stuff I would love to give the bride and groom.

So this is a blog?

I don’t know what to write but as my business gets off the ground, slowly and surely, I will be able to post pictures and news of weddings or engagement sessions here. The pictures that come after this blog are of weddings I have done in the past few years on my own. These are my work. Website

I was given a website building program, but with the server I have chosen it seems that my website builder may not work so I will have to start fresh with one of their pre built sites. Ah well. My site was cool but theirs is better. Of course if I did web site building for a living I could probably do better as well. Trying to resize my photos to find the perfect size to get them to fit on the page correctly. Another fun chore. ”Blueberries. They always turn into blueberries at the dessert. Ah well. I’ll get it right in the end.”
